You are invited to experience a journeys to imaginative world of baxxart combined with Swedish home deco and design. On view are works by the artist Baxx Vladimir who added twists to old art. In his series of RePainted old paintings, Baxx Vladimir painted Swedish pop culture characters into secondhand shop’s paintings. The result can be quite humorous, with once serene landscapes now holding a whimsical new angle.

This was a workshop series in which children developed skills through fun games and learned new skills and knowledge in an enjoyable way.
I tried to show kids how to make unique pieces of art by thinking outside of the box. During the workshop we handled several art and painting techniques using different tools and materials. We revived the old drawings by adding a new characters or motives. The workshop raised the kids’ awareness of the importance of recycling. And last, but not least, the kids took the art they created home.
